Aaron Goodman – Creative Director
This wasn't the plan.
I started my career as a professional photographer and photo-illustrator. Working from a studio in Hell's Kitchen, New York City, I specialized in producing conceptual photo-illustrations for over 70 national magazines and publishing houses, as well as advertising projects for clients like Nike, DirecTV, Georgia Pacific / Dixie, Officemax, Phillips Electronics, Absolut Vodka, Black and Decker, and Dannon Yogurt. My work was nationally recognized, winning awards from Communication Arts, the Society of Publication Designers, The Western Publishing Association, and Photo District News.
Then one day- it was a tuesday I think - I realized that in addition to being an experienced photographer and retoucher, I had actually been an art director most of my career, being called on by my clients to develop both the ideas and look-and-feel of most of my published work.
Armed with this new information, I began to pursue art direction and design gigs, helping develop key art and surrounding creative for iconic entertainment brands like WGN, Comedy Central, Syfy, HBO, PBS, and STARZ. It's been 5 years now. I love my work and I love the folks I get to work with.
I live with my wife Terry, my sons Nathan and Zachary, and a tiny fluffball cat named Jane. For fun, I like to injure myself with the large array of power tools I use to keep our 100 year old house from falling down.
